There isn't much new to report, Vern is still very tired and sleeps most of the day. He is pushing himself to eat even though most food doesn't taste good, this is one of the side effect of the radiation. But tonight, I had fixed chicken in the crockpot with mushroom soup (you cook it for about 6-8 hours), this actually tasted better to him than anything recently! That made me glad, something finally tasted better. He is still having issues with his balance and has fallen a couple times, mostly because he doesn't want to bother me. We are supposed to see Dr. Skeel, his oncologist on Monday, October 14.
On a positive note, Vern's siblings finally have his parents house cleaned out and it is ready to sell. This has been an ongoing issue for the last 2 years. A major praise!!!
Pray that food will again taste good to him and that he will not have so much problem with walking and his balance. We are trusting God for the balance for the hyperbaric treatment, and also for the sale of his parents house.
